It’s just a shame that they don’t mention that the President of Iran blogs

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran Blog

It’s not that the video is wrong, it’s just that knowing the President of a country – especially Iran – blogs, adds something to the story. He even has comments turned on. Not the type we have in the West but presumably honest and valid in Middle Eastern culture:

Dear and honorable president my lasts comments not was pubblied and i admire you why this? Are messages too much for show all? Long life to you and Iran and all country that no like death but life.

If you are worried about negative comments, or having trouble selling social media to a Marketing Director consider this: is your brand in worse shape, would get more negative comments than Telstra (nowwearetalking) or the President of one of the so-called Axis of Evil? no? thought not. No excuses now then :)

By the way, I noticed Malcolm Turnbull has slacked off the blogging lately. Why? He got something better to do? Heh. *cracks whip*

Loss of life, fear, a tragedy being played out live is not Entertainment. For a second, I thought he was self gagging a protest on Minister for No-Broadband Stephen Conroy’s ISP filter plan #nocleanfeed. KevinPM is not Web 2.0. Web 2.0 is about social media. I’ts not about using social networks to push agency media, nor is it one way “PM to voter”. Web 2.0 is interaction PM to voter to PM, or at least voter to voter. As opposition grows against the Government’s controversial plan to censor the internet, the head of one of Australia’s largest ISPs has labelled the Communications Minister the worst we’ve had in the past 15 years. Separately, in Senate question time today, Greens senator Scott Ludlam accused the Communications Minister, Stephen Conroy, of misleading the public by falsely claiming his mandatory censorship plan was similar to that already in place in Sweden, Britain, Canada and New Zealand.
