The following are the standard T & C for working with Laurel Papworth:-
T&C’s for Engaging Laurel Papworth
1. Fees & Payments
- Fees are in AUD and subject to GST/VAT if applicable. Travel, accommodation, and airport transfers are excluded from the fee and invoiced post-event.
- No third party may apply a markup exceeding 30% (including grant applications) without written approval.
- Payment: Full payment is due within 14 days of invoicing. Post-event invoices (travel/attendee adjustments) must be paid within 7 days. Late payments may incur a 10% monthly fee, and non-payment beyond 60 days may lead to legal action.
2. Cancellations & Postponements
- Client cancellations/postponements within 30 days incur a 50% fee.
- If Laurel Papworth cancels, a full refund is issued.
- Force Majeure: Laurel is not liable for disruptions beyond her control (illness, flight delays, disasters, tech failures). Rescheduling will be arranged in good faith.
3. Travel & Accommodation
- Overnight stays are required for events starting before 10:00 AM, with costs (room, meals, internet) charged to the client’s master account.
- If travel delays occur, an extra night’s stay may be required.
- Flights: All flights/transfers are client-funded. Business class on Qantas is required for interstate/international travel unless agreed otherwise.
4. Marketing, IP & Recordings
- Logos/testimonials may be used for promotional purposes.
- Filming & Content Use: Recording requires prior approval. No session materials (slides, handouts, AI-generated content) may be recorded or redistributed without consent.
- Course Materials: The course name (e.g., AI Is My Copilot) and curriculum cannot be altered. Online course access must be redeemed within 5 days, and codes cannot be shared externally.
5. Conduct & Agreement Terms
- The client must provide a safe, professional environment. Laurel may terminate services if conditions are unsuitable (e.g., unsafe venue, disruptive behaviour, contract breaches).
- Alternative contracts must be submitted 2 weeks prior. Laurel retains full Intellectual Property (IP) rights.
