- Today I attended an exceptional #AI workshop called AI Is My CoPilot. In the arena of AI, Laurel’s expertise, eloquence, and pragmatic approach to teaching stand as a rare trinity. It’s like discovering a gem in a coal mine – a brilliant blend of theory and application that enriches our professional journey. A unique and exciting learning experience indeed! Every element, from the course content to the interaction level, was meticulously designed and executed perfectly. I am more equipped, informed, and motivated to apply these learnings to my work. Professor Sabina Cerimagic (LinkedIn)
- I had an incredible time attending the ‘AI Is My CoPilot’ course today at the Australian Institute of Management. Under the expert guidance of Laurel Papworth, I had the pleasure of joining professionals from diverse industries to explore the fascinating world of artificial intelligence and its global business impact. We dove deep into AI-driven strategies, responsible AI usage, ethical considerations, practical applications, and the wide array of AI tools available. Catherine O’Brady (LinkedIn)
- Laurel Papworth was an excellent facilitator for this course. Clearly has very deep practical and theoretical knowledge on AI and much more. Our class was a varied mix of people who knew little about AI ( me!) and very experienced users. She dealt with my silly questions and the expert ones all in her stride. AIM should engage her full time She has a cracking sense of humour too – really great day and highly recommend this program. June 2023 Australian Institute of Management course.
- Thank you so much for a wonderful Friday where Jeanie and I learned a lot about AI and how to use ChatCPT and much more. Enisa, Regulatory 2023

- AI IS MY COPILOT courses 2023-2024 (Australian Institute Of Management):
- Laurel was excellent in every way. Thoroughly engaging, excellent blend of sharing her in-depth knowledge, in a relatable and humorous manner. Would recommend anyone curious about the usage of AI and ChatGPT, copilot et al to invest in this course. The facilities and catering were also top notch, venue very conveniently located, and staff at registration excellent. A++! (AIM Sydney)
- Laurel made the subject fun and interesting (AIM Sydney 2024)
- I loved her friendly and open approach – she did an incredible job at creating a group vibe through virtual means. the way she made time for questions and circled back to ensure she’d answered them effectively was much appreciated (AIM Virtual 2024)
- Laurel was open to questions, and I learnt a lot from her responses to other students? queries. I didn’t use the notes included ad I always take my own, however, the resources list that Laurel included is very helpful, since I prefer to do my own research. Where does AIM find these amazing lecturers?! Thank you for bringing people with real world knowledge into the classroom. (AIM Virtual)
- Laurel was extremely knowledgeable but also conveyed the knowledge at a level befitting the group after assessing our collective prior knowledge level. She not only covered useful content but also focused on content that the group expressed special interest in. Her presentation skills were relaxed and she made herself approachable for participants to feel comfortable to engage in the session with no question made to seem like a silly question. The course content covered all areas suitable for an AI foundation course ie what it is, how to use it, dispelling participants’ fears in interacting with AI, what AI future might look like in the near and distant future and what pitfalls to look out for when building AI into a company or organisation. All with some great dad jokes thrown in! Perfect balance! (AIM Virtual)
- Thoroughly enjoyable day. Was exactly the type of content I was looking for, practical and immediately usable. Not too technical and everything presented in Laymans terms (AIM Melbourne)
- Laurel was incredibly engaging and used humour very well. I would gladly and am recommending this to my colleagues. (AIM Melbourne)
- Absolutely fantastic. Facilitator is an expert in the subject matter, extremely informative and highly engaging. AI is my Copilot has been the pinnacle of my AIM learning experience so far! (AIM Canberra)

- We were VERY happy with the Facebook training we had at Parliament House [Canberra] from Laurel. I was wondering if she does any consultancy work? We’d be keen to have her in [our local office] for a day to look at the specific demographics / issues in our electorate and help us work up a local strategic facebook plan.
R & S, Media Advisors to NSW MP, Australian Parliament House - I want to thank Laurel for an insightful, stimulating, absorbing, thought-provoking and very entertaining full day on the entire social media landscape. The session was highly relevant for digital specialists, traditional marketers and PR professionals alike. It was full of very current information and lots of new material in a space that is often talked about but not often fully understood. I would happily recommend Laurel and look forward to working with her in the future. Simon Marks,Head of Digital, Blackmores Ltd

- Defence Force Recruiting has traditionally eschewed social media, due to its perceived risks and special resourcing requirements. Laurel has helped our organisation to understand the ‘opportunity cost’ of not being involved in social media and the danger of excluding ourselves from the online conversation, particularly given the fact that our target market is the 17-25 year old age group. Laurel’s workshop has gone a long way to convincing our management team of the prospective benefits of social media. We will now proceed with more certainty into the brave new world of online communities. Clayton Wehner, Digital Project Manager Business Services Team, Defence Force Recruiting
