Is it just me or is there very little in the job description that is online communities skills related? Growing and driving online traffic – well yeah – and the rest is like a rollcall for a generic documentation project staff or maybe a marketing analyst. It’s entirely possible that someone along the Recruitment process is not entirely sure what building an online community in the Superannuation space means, so it’s been left general. Or else, it’s hush hush. Or else it’s just a bit of a forum. Not sure about this one, but its up here for you Web 2.0 social network/online community afficianados.
BTW I got fed up with Seek.com.au inability to give me a permanent link that I can use in my blog; so where possible, I will drive traffic away from seek.com.au to the originating agency or client. Serve’s ’em right. *grumpy face* It may only be one or two who click on the Hays’ link, but every little bit will show ’em to get with the distributed information program!
Anyway, back to the job. If you are interested in online communities and superannuation, contact me directly…. I may have an approach that you could try to sell in an interview. But it would be a bit tricky to manage – so let’s talk it through… ok? 🙂
