I was running around Second Life in my Eyeore pajamas and fluffy duck slippers that light up last night -well, it was waaaaay past SilkCharm’s bedtime – when I bumped into Anya Ixchel (Angela Thomas, lecturer at University of Sydney). They have a job for someone arty/animator-y: very creative project for someone – contact the producer, KateRichards (kate.richards (at) bigpond.com) :
I’m producing a Second Life prototype for a arts-based client and I’m looking for a Art Director/animator with experience in Virtual Worlds development. Graphic production will be outsourced to the USA, and and the Art Director will not have a big graphic load to produce. The ideal candidate would be Sydney- or Melbourne-based, and comfortable working remotely with US designers.
Sorry for the imposition but if you can think of anyone suitable, can advise me or would be so kind as to foreward this email to your professional networks, I’d be most thankful. I urge anyone interested to contact me and I will then foreward a full brief.
It’s some sort of LAMP/education/literature idea. I’d love to tell you more but then I’d have to kill you. Slowly. With Great Pleasure *evil laugh* Ooops. Sorry, roleplaying in the wrong game/world.
By the way, dunno if they put the job up on Second Life Classifieds or not.
