We are seeking an experienced Online Communications Manager to manage develop and implement strategies for effective online communications. The successful applicant will work with WWF staff and external agencies to communicate online to assist WWF-Australia achieve its communication, fundraising and conservation goals.
This position develops effective online campaign strategies in support of WWF’s national communications strategy. The position focuses on leveraging emerging online social media channels (such as weblogs, Flickr, YouTube etc.) to expand and engage WWF’s audience. The position also advises on the direction of all WWF’s online properties (e.g. wwf.org.au, futuremakers.com.au).
The ideal candidate will be adept at juggling projects and priorities, will love working in a team environment, and have demonstrated experience managing corporate and campaign-related (e.g. product or advocacy campaigns) websites. Experience developing strategies and tactics for online communications, familiarity with technical concepts and proven project management experience also essential. Attention to detail and a keen eye for design is desirable.
