The Blackmores Sydney Running Festival is on this Sunday, 23 September.
Don’t despair if you have not:
1. collected your event kit (please ensure you can quote your bib number for ease of collection)
2. replacement of timing chips
3. race changes (cash only accepted for upgrades)
4. uncollected merchandise (can be retrieved at the Asics/Rebel tent at the finishThe above can all be rectified from the registration tent at the starting line at Milson’s Point. NB: No new entries will be accepted on race day. Road closures

Given that some people are not exercise averse, unlike moi, why didn’t those sponsors of sydneymarathon.org create an online community of joggers? The members could’ve done carpooling, shared strategies and tips, created mashup-maps, and, considering the numbers jogging on by, had a massive database of fitness people who are interested in fitness-y things. Like herbal remedies from Blackmores.
sydneymarathon.org have a widget but it’s not embeddable by anyone else. Therefore, missing out on the distributed marketing that jogging/bloggers would’ve provided:
See? No “embed this widget” options.
And there are 7,000 blog posts on “Run the Bridge”. Some are in Bahasa and German.
A missed opportunity, methinks. For them, not me. I’m quite comfortable where I am thank you! Brekkie anyone?

Hi Laurel, i’ve ran a marathon before. So if i ever get chance to visit over there. That would be something worth to visit sidney. I bet you had a nice view.
