Computeractive.co.uk brought this information from Sean Nichols (vunet.com) to my attention – it’s the official release of Zune today:
Microsoft has released details of its much-anticipated Zune media player.
The device will offer 30GB of storage, access to online communities and music stores, and a wireless networking feature allowing users to share media. It will feature a 3in screen and come in black, brown or white.
Unconfirmed reports claim that the Zune will sell at $299, and will be launched in time for the holiday season. The device is said to be based on Toshiba‘s Gigabeat player.
What do they mean by “access to online communities”, please? Anyone? If I find out – later – I’ll post an update.
One of probably hundreds of articles here (not to mention thousands of blog entries).
