Pasifika Community Online Facilitator
We are CWA New Media – an award-winning, Wellington-based, elearning services and digital media company known for our future-focused thinking.

We have an immediate, fixed-term position for the right person to facilitate the Pasifika Online Community we manage on Te Kete Ipurangi: the Online Learning Centre. www.tki.org.nz

Developing and maintaining the Pasifika community and associated education networks is key to supporting the ongoing work of Te Kete Ipurangi. The Pasifika Community Facilitator will be an “advocate” for the audiences of the Pasifika education community. They will be keen to locate quality-assured online information and resources of interest to Pasifika audiences, and to ensure it is made available through the TKI environment. They will also be a good communicator, representing Te Kete Ipurangi and the Pasifika Community at regional conferences and meeting regularly with the Ministry of Education Pasifika curriculum facilitator

The candidate will be passionate about Pasifika education and Pasifika cultures and have a teaching background. Knowledge of a Pasifika language will also be an advantage.
