Word Press Social Network: BuddyPress

Yay! Finally – I’ve been waiting for this for at least a year. No clue what the features are, but I have my own list if they’d care to hear ’em: forum, subgroups, proper profiles, buddy lists, and so on. Yes I know WordPress has some plugins, I’ve tried ’em including the bridge for Blog-to-Forum but they are not up to scratch. Makers of WordPress soon launching BuddyPress:

Blogs are undeniably Social Network 1.0, and we are all aching for updated 2.0/3.0 features. It’s entirely possible that this will revolutionize citizen media, even though I don’t know the feature list but after all, it’s Automattic
