Job: PHP with Joomla or Drupal

Social Network developer (Joomla! or Drupal) – actually, some people take Joomla and Drupal and just use it as a CMS, disabling the community features. If you talk to ’em, let us know if that is the case? :p

Employment type: Contract
Telecommute: Not allowed

A great opportunity with a dynamic, well established and growing web development agency (Sydney).

We are looking for an experienced PHP developer (Sydney-based) to fulfill a 1 month on-site contract developing a new CMS based web project for a large, well-known client. There is real potential for extension to work on another 3 month contract.

The successful applicant must be comfortable working within a team and will have proven knowledge of the following:

  • Web based projects
  • CMS development in Joomla or Drupal
    *PHP object based programming
    *Postgres/mysql database handling
    *Implementation of CSS/ JavaScript

The pay rate is negotiable depending on your skill level. Please contact or send your resume to :

Ralph Wayment (ralph@suede.com.au)

The telecommute first line thing is because it’s posted under “contributed module status” at the drupal site. Warning (or simply note): the poster is LINDAH who has been a Drupal community member for oh, 3 hours. Which may mean something. Or not.

  1. Whetheer Linda has been a drupal member for 3 hrs or 3 months , if she pays for the project, then it should be ok 🙂

  2. Aye. Everyone has to start somewhere. But one is usually a little wary until the member of an online community has a few runs on the boards. Especially if there is money changing hands. 🙂

  3. I think you got a great blog!! Thank you for that. I’m definitely going to add u to my favorite 🙂
I hope you can visit my blog at Thaer Money.

  4. Thanks for the tip, have sent off an RFI email, and will be sure to let you know if they’re not legit (3 hour membership skepticism etc.)
