Every year, those scallywags at Google come up with some piece of silliness for April Fool’s. Last year it was a UFO embedded in Google Earth’s Area 51 map. This year it’s TiSP – Toilet Internet Service Provider. And who says Australian Broadband connections have to be sh… 🙂 On a marketing note, it’s fascinating that once your brand is well established, you can play around with it like this. The look and feel of the TiSP site is very Google, with a few calculated errors to indicate that it’s not kosher. The community group has about 5000 posts. Goodness knows how many have blogged it.
