EVENT Trope: Writers Festival Second Life


Oh Knickers! I’m going to miss this!

Invitation to Sydney Writers’ Festival roundtable: trope –promoting new writing in Second Life
trope is a new space in Second Life promoting creative writing in virtual environments. The roundtable features trope’s creators alongside writers selected for the first iteration, discussing the dynamics of this intersection between literature and new media. Participants include Cristyn Davies, Elena Knox, Sarah Waterson, Jeremy Fisher, Keri Glastonbury, Gary Hayes, Sara Knox, Louise Wakeling and Fiona Wright, chaired by Jill Jones.

This project is supported by the Literature Board of The Australia Council for the Arts and The University of Western Sydney.

  1. Be nice if this was actually able to be a mixed reality event with ppl interested yet not in geography of Sydney to attend in SL… seeing it’s talking about SL. Seems a lot of talk about SL goes on without involving it. A slurl to troupe would be handy too…very little ref in SL about it.
