  1. Thanks for the shout, and the edit – as I was going to link you to Lorelle’s post.

Scumbag… Hope you have success. And you know the post made you feel just a little bit better.

  2. yes ma’am. And there’s something very freeing about writing “sucks donkeys balls” so many times. 🙂 Puts a smile on my face.

  3. Apparently the donkey is relieved now that you’ve brought this out into the open! What a gobbler!

I hope that G does what it should and closes the account.

    P.S whose peter?

  4. Peter is the guy who emailed me 2 seconds after you. 😛 BTW Rod, your email addy comes through as MyMail, you might want to go to BP and change your settings?

I just did a search on centerofcontents.com and this little piece of anti-marketing post comes top. Heh. Check it here google link I probably shouldn’t be giving them google juice but who cares…

  5. Hi Laurel

I have been reading your blog for a little while, I too am an Australian Tech/Entrepreneur/Startup blogger http://www.searchcorp.biz

I have been in the SEO space for a while now and the original black hat SEOers used to do a lot of this sort of thing but not so much now.

Whats funny is when the original black hat SEO guys have someone else scraping their content. Here is what they do.

This last method you could use to direct to some form of nasty porn site with an rss feed.

  6. I’ve been in love the SEO Black Hat site for a while – the colours are awesome. 🙂

Shame Google (owner of blogger/blogspot) won’t let me at the .htaccess. 🙁

  7. Time to move to wordpress. Im writing a “How to post for Small Business owners to setup WordPress” Should be finished Monday.

Once you have used wordpress, you wont go back it is so much better than Typepad, Movable Type and Blogger, I have used them all, blogger is easy but you will be constantly asking why you cant do stuff and how you can add to it.

In absence of being able to change htaccess, I think donkey balls is a fantastic response.

  8. Thank you dear. 🙂 I run WordPress for another blog and Drupal for my main sites. Unfortunately – and I did a bit of investigation – moving this blog at this time would involve losing readership and linking and google-loving. And I get a LOT of work through this bloggy. THAT sucks donkeys balls. 😛

In fact, I had meant to use this site as a test – SilkCharm at the time was my private avatar name – and then start a “real one”. Big mistake. Heh. By the time I was ready to move over, I already was established. Setting up WordPress is pretty scary to people who are struggling with “what is a host, what is a domain name, what is a blogroll”, so I think an article on that very fact for Small Business is great! please send me the link and I’ll pass it on to the small business group I spoke to on Monday. 🙂

  9. Admiring the time and effort you put into your site and detailed information you present.
It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same
outdated rehashed material. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding
your RSS feeds to my Google account.
