Just kinda bookmarking this one – at war with your customer and forcing your customer to go to war with you, en masse. Warner Music Group are forcing Google’s YouTube to pull videos that have any recognisable Warner music in it. Background, homage, mashups, clips, concerts, cover’s, singing the shower, you name it, gone.

Internet TV service Joost has acquired $45m (£22.6m) in venture capital.
Five separate parties invested in the service, which launched commercially last week.
Among the investors are Index Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Li Ka Shing Foundation, CSB Corporation and Viacom.
CBS has already contributed more than 2,000 hours of content to the service including news and popular TV [...]
