Watch as Bridget Davis prepares some fabulous food together with discussion and conversation around how real-time social media is changing the food industry. Tickets are just $15. Food will be served with sensational wines from Robert Oatley Vineyards.  The evening kicks off at 6.45pm

At first I thought it was in Canberra because Julie Posetti is going,  but now I wonder if it’s in Sydney. I can’t find it on Media140 official site (a bit hard to use). Any one else out there in Pixzel Land know? I’ll update when I find out.

Update it’s at 163 ORiordan Street Mascot NSW near airport I think.

I spoke at Media140  Sydney – I want to highlight some of the “arguments” used against social media by the panels, also focus on Everybody co-creating The Human Narrative and the diminishing role of journalists who take news from one part  of the community and deliver it to another part:  It’s not YOUR content. It’s our content. Our stories. We didn’t give you the Human Story, we loaned it to you, and now we’re taking it back. Such an odd day – I couldn’t seem to get my feet under me at Media140 Sydney.
