  1. Update: Facebook credits HAVE been integrated into location based “check in” program Booyah. Mol Points (Asian micropayment) means you can now buy a farmville slurpee at 7-11 stores and get Credits and also buy Facebook Credit prepaid cards.

  2. Both Paypal and Facebook will not be actual financial institutions and will not be held to privacy and security rules for banking. This is a dangerous development.

Private companies can and will make off with you money eventually and there’s nothing you will be able to do about it.

  3. If Zynga are smart they wont have to re-do their math…

The 30% billing fee for credits only hits the bottom line if you DON’T pass on that cost to customers. 30% fees are common with SMS billing in online games, and most companies pass on that extra cost to customers – with either higher prices for the virtual currency or less currency for your funding amount.

Customers are in most cases happy to pay more for the perceived higher convenience and perceived safety of the SMS method.

There is no reason why this should be any different for FB credits.

  4. Laurel – you are one of those few people in the world that get it.

It really is the next big thing “Facebook Credits”

Put this into your mix facebook + Paypal synergy with Ebay – and you will be able to buy non virtual products with “facebook credits”
