Laurel Papworth resides in Sydney Australia, and is passionate about social networks and the digital economy, Web 2.0/3.0 and virtual worlds, consumer engagement and staff empowerment through social media. During the last twenty years, Laurel has managed virtual world communities and forums and brings a depth and breadth of knowledge in the social networks space. She travelled to Saudi Arabia in 2008 to teach Arabic women how to use social media and blogging, has a patent on social network currencies, was the first trainer in Australia on social networks with her Web 2.0 for Marketing public course at the University of Sydney in 2005. Laurel is also a:
