Laurel Papworth resides in Sydney Australia, and is passionate about social networks and the digital economy, Web 2.0/3.0 and virtual worlds, consumer engagement and staff empowerment through social media. During the last twenty years, Laurel has managed virtual world communities and forums and brings a depth and breadth of knowledge in the social networks space. She travelled to Saudi Arabia in 2008 to teach Arabic women how to use social media and blogging, has a patent on social network currencies, was the first trainer in Australia on social networks with her Web 2.0 for Marketing public course at the University of Sydney in 2005.
